Although most Alera fence installations are done by professional fencing, gate and landscaping contractors, they are easy enough for the end user to install. The secret is our new and advanced post connection shoes combined with our fence sections can also be stepped by simply field relocation of the post shoes where needed. All you need there is a screw gun.

To start, a corner or end post is set in concrete. Then, a section is simply slid into the factory installed post shoes with a second post to support the opposite end. This method is simply repeated over and over again until you reach the end or another corner. We recommend a 2-3/4" spacing from the bottom of the fence to the top of the finished ground to allow for adequate grass cutting. We also manufacture wall/column mount brackets for securing any fence panel to existing structures. It is that simple!
